This document explains how the Company (as defined hereunder) uses the Personal Data provided by the Users in using this Website (as defined hereunder) in its role of data controller.
The Personal Data provided by the Users will be processed in compliance with the provisions set out in the Privacy Code and, in particular, in observance of the principles of necessity, transparency, lawfulness, correctness and proportionality of the Personal Data processing.
The following information is disclosed pursuant to Art. 13 of the Privacy Code.
“Account” indicates the account that the User (as defined hereunder) can create through registration on the Website;
“Privacy Code” indicates Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003, as amended after it came into force;
“Personal Data” indicates any information on a natural person, identified or identifiable, even indirectly, by reference to any other personal information, including a personal identification number;
“The Bridge” indicates the company The Bridge S.p.A., with registered office in via E. Codignola 14/16 - Scandicci 50018 (FI), Tax ID/VAT no. 04253320487 and registration no. at the Florence Register of Companies: FI - 623471, which will have access to the Personal Data of the Users in its capacity of external manager of data processing;
“Product” or “Products” indicates products of the The Bridge brand that can be purchased at a Point of Sale or on the Website;
“Point of Sale” indicates any store authorised to sell the Products;
“Company” indicates Piquadro S.p.A. with registered office in Silla di Gaggio Montano (BO), Località Sassuriano, no. 246, tax ID, VAT reg. no 02554531208 and registration no. at the Bologna Register of Companies: 448505;
“User” or “Users” indicates the users that visit the Website and use the services it offers.
TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING
Data voluntarily provided by the Users
The Company collects Personal Data specifically and voluntarily provided by the User when he or she creates an Account on the Website. The Company will collect the following Personal Data at the time of the User’s registration: first name, surname, password; email address and date of birth. In connection with the purchases that the User makes through the Website, the Company will also collect the following Personal Data necessary for making the purchase and relating to the purchase made: type of product purchased and delivery address. Providing the data specified aboe is necessary for creating an Account and for making the purchases on the Website. In lack of these data, the Website can be used, but it will be impossible to supply the services offered by the Website to the Account holders and to make purchases through the Website.
The Company may also collect the following Personal Data voluntarily provided by the User when entering them into his or her Account: address, country of residence, sex, nationality; telephone number. Subject to the express and specific consent of the Users, these data - together whith those collected during registration - will be processed by the Company for marketing purposes (sending of information or promotional announcements both with automated contact systems, e.g. email or sms, and with non-automated systems, e.g. post in printed form) and for profiling purposes (personalisation and improvement of the buying experience of Website Users). Providing said data for the purposes mentioned is optional. Failure to provide these data will make the sending of information and promotional announcements and carrying out profiling activities impossible, but will have no effect on the functioning of the services the Website offers.
The User may also voluntarily provide some of his or her Personal Data listed above if he or she wants to receive customer support from the Company, such as first name, surname and email address. Providing said data is necessary for the Company in order to supply the customer support requested. Therefore, failure to provide these data will make it impossible for the company to supply the customer support service to the Users.
Automatically collected data
The Company will not process sensitive data, which is considered to be personal data able to reveal the racial and ethnic origin of the User, his or her religious, philosophical or other types of convictions, political opinions, support of parties, trade unions, associations or religious, philosophical, political or union organisations, and Personal Data abe to reveal the state of health and sexual life of the User. The User is asked to not send sensitive data to the Company.
The Personal Data will be processed by the Company with automated and non-automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.
Specific security measures are followed to prevent loss of data, illegal or improper use and unauthorised access.
COMMUNICATION OF PERSONAL DATA
The User’s Personal Data will be accessible to internal and external personnel appointed to the processing in connection with the purposes specified above. The Personal Data of the Users will also be accessible to suppliers of the company or other intermediaries that support the company for the operation and supply of services (e.g. suppliers of IT services, suppliers of customer support services, suppliers of logistics services, suppliers of payment services).
The Company has appointed The Bridge as external manager of data processing of the Personal Data collected through the Website. The complete list of data processing managers can be consulted at the registered office of the Company.
In compliance with Art. 7 of the Privacy Code, Users have the right to access their Personal Data at any time, and in particular to obtain confirmation of whether or not the Personal Data concerning them exist and their communication in intelligible form, to learn of their origin, the purposes and the procedure of the processing. Users have the right to obtain information on the identifying details of the data controller, of the data processing managers and of the parties or categories of parties to whom the Personal Data may be disclosed. Users also have the right to verify the accuracy of the Personal Data or to ask that they be supplemented or updated, or corrected. Users also have the right to request the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or the blocking of the Personal Data processed in breach of the law, and to in any case object to their processing in full or in part for legitimate reasons, and to their processing for the purpose of sending advertising or direct sales material or to conduct market research or sales communication. The Users’ right to object to the processing of their Personal Data for direct marketing purposes through automated contact methods also extends to methods that are not automated. The User may express his or her desire to receive sales or promotional communications only through traditional or non-automated contact methods.
